We’re really excited to offer this incredible trip to Argentina . We’ll be based near Cordoba (about 400 miles NW of Buenos Aires ), on the edge of the Sierras de Cordoba.

There are lots of world class flying sites in the area with cloud bases often in excess of 3000m and you’ll be sharing thermals with condors, a life changing experience. Take-offs are big and easy and landings are even bigger and easier! The potential for cross country is unbelievable, so wheather you’re an experienced XC pilot looking for BIG, BIG distance, a Club Pilot looking to do your first cross-country flights, or simply looking to complete your Club Pilot training in the most stunning environment imaginable.

The trip lasts for 12 days (11 nights). We will be staying in really comfortable cottages with large gardens, a pool and 9 hole golf course (well, there’s no point in roughing it!). So that we can make the most of this trip, we’ve arranged for everything to be provided. You’ll be met at Cordoba airport and whisked back to our cottages. We’ll have 2 mini buses and a pick up truck (with drivers). They all are locals, and have both radios and GPS’s to aid in retrieves. 

All meals are included, so for breakfast you’ll get a complete meal. If you’d like, mate (local tea) and traditional bakery it will also be available.

Lunch and dinner are traditional Argentinean meals like “Asedero”, empanadas, and other specialties. The only thing not included is alcoholic drinks.

Besides flying, there are so many other things to see and do like visiting the Talampaya Valley, a Unesco World heritage site with a “lost city”, horse riding, climbing and abseiling (with a qualified instructor). We’re near the local town and will definitely experience the night life which is laid back and friendly but has a habit of getting out of hand!

This is a place where crowding is non-existent, landing out is safe and the local people are friendly, and cloud bases are commonly around 3000 m!!!
