Argentina
- December 2008 - Trip of a lifetime!
This will be one of the best trips that you’ll ever do. The flying, the country, and the people are incredible!
Last February I went with a group of pilots to the far north of Argentina to try to set some new distance records. Although we were unlucky with the weather; storms developing every afternoon, it was an amazing experience and the potential is enormous. We were winching over huge flat lands in a truly unique area. This year I’ll be going back in November for another shot at it and have 3 places for people who’d like to join me. You’ll need at least 50 hours of airtime and a real sense of adventure. If you’ve never winched before we can teach you, and if you’ve never done a big XC flight before, you will. Ground temperatures often hit 45°C, cloud base is usually between three and four thousand metres and the thermals tend to be big but not particularly rough or strong. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be a team member on this, give me a call and let’s talk about it.

This is simply the best trip you’ll ever take; you turn up at the airport and everything just seems to flow from that point on. There’s nothing for you to do except fly and enjoy yourself!
The cost of the 13 day trip is £1650 (Flights not included)
