    • Coastal soaring on the huge sands dunes of Bordeaux

      Great weather, blue seas, fine wine and of course excellent flying make this coastal location perfect for summer soaring. Situated next to Arcachon near Bordeaux on the west coast of France.

      The Flying

      Summer flying tends to be extremely reliable here in Bordeaux. Flying in shorts & trainers, the dune, several hundred feet of soft sand, provides an opportunity to get bags of air-time in a stress free environment.

      Accommodation

      Self-catering the French way. The campsite & chalets are dead posh! - with a pool, bars & restaurants - loads of other activities & water sports here too!

      Details

      We take a maximum of 10 people each week, and accommodation, tuition, transfers and transport are all included.

      The cost is £545* per week

      * If you would like to hire kit we offer a suitable glider & kit to rent for only £150/week. Non flyers are welcome £299. (for a small transfer charge we can also pick you up from Bordeaux airport)
