While the days are growing shorter in the UK and the cold weather setting in, we’ll be floating in the warm breezes over the beautiful island of Madeira . The flying is a mixture of stunning coastal cliffs and inland thermic sites suited to all standards. We’re offering this trip for all levels of pilot from complete beginner to expert. If you’re looking to get your tandem rating, this is an excellent place for it. We’ll be staying in a B+B run by a local pilot with a takeoff and landing in his front garden! Madeira is a strange and beautiful island with the higher central part shrouded in mist and strange twisted trees. As usual we’ll be visiting some really special places that are well off the main tourist trail, eating with the locals as well as organising some communal meals.
