Tandem Paragliding Flights
With no motor, we rely on lifting air to gain height, sometimes even reaching the clouds. The beautiful “patchwork quilt” of Dorset’s countryside is at its best when seen from above, making the flight a magical experience. A tandem flight will give you the chance to experience Paragliding; really feeling what it is like to be in the air and all of our qualified tandem pilots are also instructors and will be happy to give you a full explanation of what is going on. You don’t need a high level of fitness for a tandem as take offs and landings are gentle. We rely on suitable weather conditions for flying but are able to fly throughout the year, though you may need to wrap up a little warmer for those winter days.
When you arrive on the hill, one of our experienced pilots will give you a full briefing, before you are fitted into your harness. Once everything’s ready you will take to the skies and if weather conditions allow, the pilot will give you a chance to take the controls and you can steer the glider yourself.
The cost for a tandem flight is £175 (£225 if you wish to split it between 2 people) for a half day.
